“ First falafel experience I truly enjoyed! Went with the O.G. falafel pita with original "green" seasoning and was pleasantly surprised with the flavor and consistency. Paired with a date, lime & banana smoothie made a great lunch. ”
“ Healthy bowls here at this fast Mediterranean style restaurant. Order at the counter, the food is made right in front of you . I got a bowl with half rice and half Hummus base with Cauliflower on top and some delicious toppings. Get the beets as a topping , those were really good . I couldn't really taste the Amba sauce but the Tahini and feta cheese were tasty additions along with Israeli salad . My friend got Chicken Shwarma and also liked the tahini sauce. These were filling bowls ! A nice choice to pick up from here. Staff behind the counter are cool. Also got a side of Red Pepper Babaganoush and that was fresh and surprisingly tasty with a spiced pita to go with it . I would definitely eat here again. ”
“ Yooooo this place is great. Delivery was fast. Food is always good. Never disappoints. I ordered delivery for the second time in a week bcs it's hot AF out and I don't like to leave my house. But that toum sauce gives me life. And since I'm forever alone I don't have to worry about bad breath for other humans. But thank you for fulfilling my request to "add a sick amount of tuom. Like enough to kill a vampire" And for perfectly portioned bowl of goodness ”
“ First time here. Very helpful counter service. Food is fresh and delicious and reasonably priced for NYC. No public restroom or anywhere to wash your hands. Hand sanitizer available, though. Would eat here frequently if we lived in NYC! ”
“ Taïm is one of my favorite places in the city to get falafel. I love that they offer a choice between two different kinds - traditional green falafel made with fresh herbs, and a slightly spicy harissa falafel. I typically go for the latter, and then amplify the spiciness even more by selecting harissa for the sauce option. If I'm building a pita, I make sure to include hummus and red pepper baba ghanoush, as well as a few of the other toppings (pickles are a must for me). In addition to the falafel, I'm a fan of the golden eggplant. Of the several pre-customized dishes available to choose from, I particularly like the Sabich Pita, which is filled with eggplant, hardboiled egg, hummus, tomato, cucumber, pickled cabbage, tahini, and a tangy mango chutney called amba. The fried eggplant is both crispy and tender, and pairs nicely with the creamy hummus. Fortunately, Taïm has a bunch of stores scattered throughout Manhattan (plus a few in Brooklyn and Queens), so I can usually find one nearby, even when I'm not in Nolita. ”
“ Taim is a small spot in Soho. My best friend sister and I passed it on our way home from the color factory and we loved it ! There are a variety of options to choose from. Some are premade bowls as shown in my image, and there are options to create your own bowl as well. I decided to go for a salad with chicken shawarma , greens, tomatoes , cucumbers, feta and tahini dressing. It was phenomenal! The service was also awesome. The employees definitely made the food with love and were very kind as well. I will definitely recommend if you are in the area as it is one of the most affordable eat ins in soho. ”
“ I have been here many times, but haven't been back in a while. I was so happy to see that it really hasn't changed much. I usually get their falafel pita, but this time wanted a bowl. I got a bowl with half salad and half couscous bass with half falafel and half chicken shwarma. I added in chickpeas and other toppings as well. I loved that I could make my own bowl. I went right before a yelp elite event at the museum of ice cream. Was a great quick dinner before and I really enjoyed it! ”
“ My husband and I shared a Hummus & Lettuce Bowl with Green & Harissa Falafel. I loved that they had different kinds of falafel. That's not something I've seen elsewhere before. The bowl we built was quite tasty. My only complaint is that this kind of assembly style place usually lets you look at the toppings as you're choosing them and they build the bowl as you're ordering. That's not the case here. You have to pick your toppings from a menu without seeing them even though it's assembled right there in front of you after. ”
